Jeff Bolichowski brings his skills as a journalist along with his extensive background, and interest, in public policy research and development to offer insightful analysis and strategic communications solutions.
Jeff launched his career as a reporter with The Windsor Star before joining The St. Catharines Standard, Niagara’s largest daily newspaper, as a municipal affairs journalist. As the first reporter to cover both Niagara Regional council and St. Catharines city hall simultaneously and on a dedicated basis, Jeff became a specialist in municipal affairs, while leveraging social media and digital tools to deliver comprehensive, engaging coverage of local government institutions.
Since 2014, Jeff has applied his understanding of policy, politics, media and government as a consultant and a member of the Armstrong Strategy Group team. A continuing follower of current affairs, Jeff understands both the strategic factors behind politics and policy and the complexities of the modern media landscape.
With his background in news writing and new media, Jeff is a key member of the Armstrong Strategy Group team, delivering effective strategic content development, media outreach and new media solutions for clients in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. He has lent his skills to projects in a diversity of sectors, from municipal planning to public procurement to health care to cleantech.
Jeff appears on a periodic basis on AM 610 CKTB as a commentator on Niagara Regional council and other matters of municipal policy and public interest.
Jeff holds a degree in English from the University of Windsor and a diploma in Print and New Media Journalism from St. Clair College.
